Seasar Salad Dressing

Recipe: Seasar Salad Dressing

  • 10.5 oz. package Japanese-style firm silken tofu
  • 10 green olives
  • 1 Tbs. olive brine (from olive jar)
  • 2 Tbs. nori flakes or toasted, crumbled nori sheet (1 can anchovies (drained) for Joe's version)
  • 1 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbs. nutritional Yeast
  • 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
  • 3 Tbs. water
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic (6 cloves for Joe's version)
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil (a little less than 1/2 cup regular olive oil for Joe's version)

Place all ingredients except oil in blender. Process until blended. Slowly drizzle in oil while processing.
