I just almost got killed (again) on my bike. Merrick Road, Merrick. Woman in a BMW SUV decided to pull into a parking space, the space that I just happened to be passing. She obviously never saw me. Ran me right off the road. I wound up squashed between her and the sidewalk. I backed up to get away from her, then, if that wasn't bad enough, SHE backed up over me. I was quick enough to react and put my had on her rear window and allowed her to pushed me backwards. I started banging on the windows to let her know I was there and finally she stopped backing up, about 1' short of squashing me between her and the car behind us. I think I'm hanging up my bike. I'm so angry.
