Black Beans (Cuban Style)
Ingredients - 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 (15.5 ounce) can black beans, drained
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
- 1/2 (12 ounce) can light beer
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish
Directions - Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook the garlic in the oil 15 seconds. Stir in the onion and green pepper; cook and stir 10 minutes. Pour in the black beans and beer; simmer until thick, about 15 minutes; garnish with cilantro.
