Buttermilk Waffles
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 2 cups buttermilk 3 large eggs 5 tablespoons melted butter oil for waffle iron Preparation:
Combine the flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir to blend. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs. Stir in the melted butter. Pour into the dry ingredients; stir until combined.
Following manufacturer's directions for oiling, measuring batter, and cooking the waffles.
Makes about 10 5-inch waffles.
