Well, this past weekend was Columbus Day weekend.  We covered a lot of ground with Meagan home for the weekend!  She came home Thursday night.  On Friday, we went upstate and picked apples at Masker Orchards. Brought lunch with us...turkey sandwiches, and had dinner at Mr. Fuji Japanese Steakhouse.

Saturday we mostly hung out, made some shopping trips, and had Chicken Soup for dinner.

Sunday was another hang-out day, shopping at the mall (Roosevelt Field), and dinner at home (turkey meatballs, sauce and pasta).

Monday was Meagan's ride home on Amtrak.  Carol and I went with her into NYC and then hung out together.  Grabbed lunch at ChikPea (in Penn Station), took the subway to 14th St., walked through Chelsea market, and out to a nice little park at the SouthWest corner of 10th Ave and 14th St where we ate our ChickPea lunch.  Back into the market, then a little walking around and then headed back to Penn Station to catch a LIRR train home.  Tired, but happy.  Finished off the chicken soup then went to sleep.  Oh yeah, caught a good movie on TV: Dracula Unknown.  Carol was rooting for Drac.  Interesting story.  Good movie.

Today, shipped all of the orders (about 50) colleted over the weekend.  Got done early about 2:30.  Lunch was a salad from Wendy's, then home.
